Wanna Salsa Baby?

I always wanted to learn salsa dancing. Not really sure whether my body is that flexible or not. Seeing those dancers in their sexy outfit doing their move. Wow..Love it. Twirling their small hips and body..Exciting..Tried to learn though one time but I looked like a robot having rust problems. Even sound like one with my bones creaking here and there. Oh well...I stopped after 2 lessons. So since I cannot do salsa dancing I might as well make some Salsa (in terms of FOOD)...ha ha ha ha...

We had a small gathering last Monday night before Labour Day and I made Salsa and Sauteed Mushrooms...YUMMY...Lets Salsa Baby

INGREDIENTS

  • Mangoes - 3 (No idea what to say 3 BIJI mangga(bm) in english so I asked Mel-my friend what is biji in english. She said english do not have biji only 3 Mangoes..ha ha and my another friend said 3 liap (in hokkien) ha ha okie changed topic
  • Pineapples - 1 tin - any brand will do but in cubes better cos I am lazy to cut
  • 1 lemon
  • Yellow pepper - 1
  • Red pepper - 1
  • Green pepper - 1
  • Tomatoes - 3
  • salt
  • black pepper - sarawak black pepper is YUMMY
  • virgin olive oil - why do they call it virgin anyway? I always wonder.
  • Fresh green chinese coriander - which I FORGOTTTTT

STEPS
Step 1
  • Cut Mangoes, Tomatoes, yellow, red and blue opps i mean green pepper into small cubes
  • Cut the coriander into smaller pieces as well (Imagine I have the coriander yeah)

Step 2
  • Make Sure no flies are inside the pineapple syrup or any of those ingredients. If got fly, please immediately take it out. Scoop those pineapple cubes near the fly just in case. Throw away the pineapple syrup and pray that you don't have vomitting or diarrhea. If you do have diarrhea or vomitting please do go see a doctor.

No animals were harm in the process of making the salsa except the fly but nothing to do with me forcing the fly. The Fly volunteered itself.

Step 3
  • Squeeze the lemon juice out and also scrap some lemon skin

Step 4
  • Put all the ingredients (Mangoes, Tomatoes, yellow, red and green pepper) into a big bowl

Step 5
  • Put black pepper and salt into the bowl and mix it. The amount of black pepper and salt is up to your taste. If you like it pepperish put more pepper but not too much though. If you like it salty put more salt but please do be careful with your blood pressure
  • Put 2 or 3 tablespoons of virgin oil into the bowl as well
  • Mix it well. Most people uses big spoons to mix it but for me I prefer and love using my hand. If you intend to follow what I do, please do wash your hands properly. You never know maybe you went to the loo before this. YUCK
Be careful of your watch okie. Don't want you to loose it and someone accidently eat it or worst they thought you want to give it to them as a wedding watch. ha ha
Step 6
  • Pour the lemon juice and lemon zest into the bowl and mix it
  • Taste it and see whether you have enough salt or pepper or etc. Do not need to put sugar because the mangoes and pineapples are already sweet

DONE...

Nice to eat with Chips (non fattening of cos) or put it into PITA bread or eat it by itself (without the fly)

Happy Trying

PS: No one was admitted into hosptital due to diarrhea or vomitting after taking my SALSA
