Messy Gracie's Stir Fry BIG Ku Chai Flower with Snow Peas

This dish I created myself a while back. Not sure is original from my brain or from a food movie I saw but the food is yummy so does not matter anyway. It is called Stir Fry Big Ku Chai (Chives) Flower with Snow Peas and Chicken Gizard. Wow Long name. Okie I just called it Ku Chai Hua With Key Kien...ha ha ha ha..
INGREDIENTS
  • Fresh Green Chives Flower (Ku Chai Flower) - cut into smaller pieces. If you are not sure what is Ku Chai please look at the picture below...Long and Green. RM3 per bunch. Taste nice also.

  • Snow Peas - 2 packets
  • Chicken Gizzard - Please remember to cut them into smaller pieces..Please because if you forget, well I will tell you later below...
  • Garlic - chopped finely
  • Oyster Sauce

STEPS
Step 1
  • Put oil into the wok and then fry the garlic till nice garlicky aroma comes out...Make sure it is not burnt okie.

Step 2
  • Throw the chicken gizzard into the work. I totally forgot to tell the preparer to cut the gizzard so big chunks of them fall into the wok. So with my fast and sharp mind, I quickly used the scissor and took one piece at a time and cut them into smaller pieces. It ain't pretty but oh well. HOT wok HOT Gizzard..But if I don't tell those people who eat it they won't know. ha ha ha ha..So please DO NOT FOLLOW ME alright!

After Cut Pictures...Do not dare to take pictures before CUT..ha ha

  • Fry it till it is almost cooked. around 3 to 4 minutes.

Step 3
  • Throw into the wok the Chives Flower and also the snow peas and stir fry them. Mix them well. Fry and fry..

Step 4
  • Pour some oyster sauce into the wok. Don't put too much though otherwise it will be very salty. Make sure you taste it okie and pour some more if not enough. Do not put sugar or salt.
  • Pour some water and cover the wok and let it cooked for a while. Remember to open the lid and fry it and then cover it again. Do not over cook it otherwise not nice anymore.

Doneeee...

Messy Grilled or is it Roasted Oyster Sauce Honey Chicken

Let me teach you a very simple recipe that you do not have to stir fry at all. Just massage the chicken with some ingredients, let it calm down for 30 minutes to 1 hour and then pop them into the oven and WALA DONE....I called it Grilled (or is it roasted not really sure) Oyster Sauce Honey Chicken....Lets Cook

INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken - You can buy the entire chicken or chicken thighs..whichever makes you happy..ha ha...
  • Oyster Sauce
  • Pepper - prefer black ones
  • Honey
  • 3 to 4 cloves of Garlic (more if you have a big chicken) - chopped finely
  • 4 to 5 red onions (more if you have a big chicken) - chopped finely

STEPS
Step 1
  • Cut lines on the chicken so when you massage the chicken with all the ingredients, the ingredients will be absorb into the chicken meat

Step 2
  • Put oyster sauce onto the chicken..Not too much cos it will be very salty. Enough to give it some flavor..

Step 3
  • Pour some sweet loving honey to the chicken and also some black pepper and rub it all over...Massage the chicken...make it hmmmmm nice and calm..ha ha ha..
  • Don't forget the garlic and red onion now...If you use a whole chicken, please remember to rub some ingredients inside the chicken...

Step 4
  • Preheat the oven for 5 minutes..I am using an UFO oven cos it looks like an UFO..ha ha..put it to 250 degree Fahrenheit or was it Celsius? pretty sure is Fahrenheit..:) Put the chicken into the oven and let it grill or roast for like 30 minutes...if big chicken please put it to 40 minutes..Sometimes the chicken will become black but don't be alarm is because of the honey..Remember to flip the chicken to the other side during the middle of the grilling or roasting...

Doneeee...Did not manage to take some pictures of the chicken being grilled because my phone out of battery..ha ha..but simple and yummy recipe..try it out...
